- Doctoria is a digital platform that helps you find doctors, hospitals, medical centers, labs, radiology centers, and pharmacies in Egypt, book with them, and order their services.
- Providers on Doctoria are independent, and each is responsible for the medical service they provide.
2Not a substitute for emergency care
- The information on Doctoria only introduces providers and their services, and is not medical advice.
- In an emergency, call an ambulance on 123 or go to the nearest hospital; do not rely on booking through Doctoria.
3Provider information and prices
- Providers supply their own details, such as specialty, addresses, working hours, and prices, and we do our best to keep them accurate and current.
- Prices and available times may change without prior notice; the price set by the provider is the one shown when you confirm a booking.
4Your account
- Bookings and orders require an account in the app; you must provide correct details and update them when they change.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter and for everything done through your account.
- We may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms.
5Bookings and payment
- Bookings, orders, and payments are made through the Doctoria app.
- Fees are shown clearly before you confirm an order, and some services may require payment in advance.
- We may refuse or cancel any order.
6Cancellation and refunds
Home visits
- You can cancel a visit up to 12 hours before the appointment, and the amount paid is kept as credit in your account.
- If you cancel within the 12 hours before the appointment, the provider is entitled to the full amount.
- The provider is entitled to the full visit amount if they reach the address and wait 10 minutes at the door.
Online consultations
- You can cancel a consultation up to 12 hours before the appointment, and the amount paid is kept as credit in your account.
- If you cancel within the 12 hours before the appointment, the provider is entitled to the full amount.
- The provider is entitled to the full consultation amount if they are available at the appointment and wait 10 minutes.
7Home care
- Check the provider's identity when they arrive, by matching their name and photo with their ID card and the details shown in the app.
- Keep to the limits of the service you booked, and describe its details accurately when booking.
8Dealing with providers
- Services must be booked and paid for through Doctoria; arranging with a provider to deliver them outside the platform is prohibited.
- Doctoria is not responsible for any dealings with a provider outside the platform.
9Reviews
- Your reviews must reflect a real experience, and must not contain abuse, personal information, or unlawful content.
- We may hide or remove any review that breaks these terms.
10Prohibited use
You may not use Doctoria's services
- For any unlawful purpose.
- To provide false information or impersonate someone else.
- To harm or disrupt the service, or to attempt unauthorized access to its systems.
- To collect users' or providers' data, or copy the platform's content, by automated means.
- To harass or abuse providers or other users.
11Intellectual property
- Doctoria's name and logo, and the design and content of the website and the app, belong to Doctoria and may not be used without prior written permission.
12Limitation of liability
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we do not guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors.
- Doctoria is not responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, or any medical service a provider delivers.
- In all cases, Doctoria's liability does not exceed the amount you paid through it for the service concerned.
13Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms from time to time, and publish the updated version on this page with the date of the last update.
- Continuing to use the service after a change is published means you accept it.
14Governing law
- These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
